Centre has the resources to put you on the path to self-employment. Career and Employment Services
Centre, at Yukon College, provides personal, academic and career
counselling for students and potential students. Challenge Community Vocational
Alternatives provides employment services for people with
disabilities. Dana Naye Ventures provides
developmental finance and advisory services to entrepreneurs and Yukon
businesses. Additional support to Aboriginal youth and entrepreneurs is
provided. Employment Central is funded
through Human Resource Service Canada. Free employment services are
provided for unemployed individuals by providing access to
computers/internet, faxing, a job board with current job opportunities and
employment counselling. Clients are referred to a variety of free
employment programs and services offered in Whitehorse and funded by
Service Canada. YuWIN -- Yukon WorkinfoNET, www.yuwin.ca
is Yukon's online source for information on jobs, careers, education,
self-employment, training, financial aid, and much more. Browse the Job
